SCOTT RIEF
President

  • Scott Rief is a Nebraska community builder and entrepreneur with a knack for turning bold ideas into thriving projects. He first made his mark in 2007, launching a chiropractic practice that grew from a single office into one of the largest in the state. By 2012, his focus expanded to real estate—starting with single-family homes before quickly moving up to multi-family developments. In 2016, Rief broke ground on his flagship project, Talon Apartments in Grand Island, Nebraska, setting the stage for a growing portfolio. From concept and design to construction and management, Rief is hands-on at every step. As President of RIZER, he oversees the management and maintenance of his real estate holdings, with laser focus on his rapidly expanding development and investment enterprise.

AUDREY LUTZ MUSILEK
Chief Operating Officer

  • Audrey Lutz Musilek aligns strategic and operational goals with the company’s mission—making sure every system, process, and policy not only works, but works brilliantly. A proud Husker alum, Audrey holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. Her career began in nonprofit administration, where she honed her skills in leadership, strategy, and culture building. Audrey brings to RIZER a rare mix of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and a knack for creating systems that empower people.

  • Andrew Toupin is the Chief Development Officer. He has been working on RIZER Construction’s projects since construction of their first development in 2016, at first through Olsson and now directly for the company. Toupin has his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has over 15 years of experience in construction and project management. He oversees company developments from design through site preparation phases, and serves as the liaison between the company’s architecture, engineering, and city partners.

KERRY EDDY
Chief Construction Officer

  • Kerry Eddy has over 27 years of commercial and residential construction experience. He is the Chief Construction Officer for RIZER Construction. Eddy began his career in framing, drywall, and finishing commercial projects for The Buckle. Five years into his career, he became a site supervisor. Eddy did various commercial construction projects until opening and operating his own company in 2010, Tri-City Drywall and Construction. His company specialized in steel-stud framing, drywall, acoustic ceilings, and interior trim work. Eddy’s company began as a sub-contractor on Scott Rief’s first project, Talon Apartments. In late 2021, Eddy joined RIZER Construction to oversee projects from procurement through project site completion.

ANNIE ADAMS
Controller

  • Annie Adams serves as Controller, managing the company’s financial operations with a focus on precision, compliance, and strategic planning. She brings more than 15 years of experience in accounting and financial management, helping drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Peru State College and a Master’s degree in Accounting from Bellevue University. Her depth of experience and leadership ensure the company’s financial foundation remains strong and adaptable.

ARIEL KOHMETCHER
Director of Operations - RIZER Management

  • Ariel Kohmetscher is the Director of Operations for RIZER’s property management division, RIZER Management.

    As RIZER Management’s very first official employee, Ariel has been shaping the company’s success story since 2013. With nearly 12 years of hands-on experience, Ariel has been a driving force in building RIZER from the ground up—helping transform it from a single vision into a thriving, multifaceted operation.

    Today, Ariel oversees all of RIZER Management’s operations, streamlining systems, implementing innovative procedures, and fine-tuning processes to ensure the property management department runs at peak performance. Her deep institutional knowledge, paired with her commitment to excellence, makes her a cornerstone of the RIZER team and a trusted leader in delivering top-tier property management.

    From day one, Ariel has brought a blend of dedication, vision, and get-it-done energy—qualities that continue to propel RIZER forward. She has served with many hats over the years, from accounting and working on construction draws to now overseeing all property managers.
